Hello everyone, my dad is completely obsessed with bass fishing and has just about everything he wants. I have noticed his factory butt seat is worn. Does anyone have recommendations for a high quality seat in the $50-100 range, or just general ideas for the tournament fisherman who thinks that he has everything he needs?

Your best bet is to order a replacement seat from the factory.  It will match his boat as well as have the same level of comfort his current seat has.  If it's worn out it's for a reason.

i took my ranger seats to a local lady that recover's  boat seats   done mine the exact color, a lot cheaper than new

Yes, I'd try to find a local upholstery business to recover 'em.

If you can't find one in the phone book you might try asking a local gym/health club who they use to recover their benches.  I used to manage a club and we utilized a person that recovered both since the material/process to cover marine seats and gym equipement seats is similar.

Your Dad most be unique, first time I've hever heard of a fellow tournament fishermen who has everthing he "thinks" he needs, LOL  ;D

Sounds like the baitmonkey gave this guy a break.

I would say to tell him what you want to get him for Christmas, then take the seat and have it restored for him.
