Berkley Stunna 112

Featured Replies

Has anyone else seen this jerkbait at iCast or the trailer on youtube? Looks like it might be giving the Vision 110 a run for it's money, especially at the 15$ pricepoint. Designed by Hank Cherry and it is supposed to release sometime this month. One of my favorite aspects of jerkbait fishing is that each jerkbait has a time and a place that it can outperform others but the Vision 110 is still my best performer 6-7 times out of 10. That being said, at 25$ for a single Vision 110, I would not mind being able to replace it with the Stunna at 15$ if it is able to compete. Thoughts?

If it’s what it’s cracked up to be then yes it would be a great option at $15. They have a perch color that looks pretty dang close to the megabass gp pro perch. Looks like an upgrade for Berkley

I don't think so unless I misunderstood the description of the bait.  Its supposed to shimmy on the drop or pause.  There are some outstanding JBs at that $15 price point that catch fish and none of them get half the attention the Visions do.

If you haven't tried Duos' JBs and or Rozantes, I would recommend trying to get your hands on a few.  The Rozante 63 and 77s are the best little JBs I've ever used.  There kind of like the Pointer 65 and 78s but the Duos have a weight transfer system so they cast better.  The 63 is great for bass and trout in streams.

I have some duos, I think they're alright, I just can't figure out where their jerkbait niche is yet. Although I am sure I will find their place eventually. The smaller ones are great on a spinning rod. Right now my current favorite jerkbait is definitely the Jackall Rerange because I can easily toss it on either spinning or casting and still cast a country mile + have similar performance to a Megabass 110, whereas I kind of have to push the limits of my SLX MGL to throw some of the tinier jerkbaits on casting.

I think the Duos are a little more versatile then the Visions as far what you can do with them.  They arent as fragile so you dont have to worry breaking the lip if you want to bump it off cover.
