Biggest Western Bass

Schlurp… pics are hard to tell size as I would personally never think that fish in the bottom weighed more than the one on top. But I too have pictures of 2pounders that look like giants. The picture in your profile looks much larger than both of those?

The fish in my profile pick is 4.25 pounds.

The 5 pounder pictured (night shot) was much longer than the fat 4 pounder above it. All there is for comparison is my hands. I use an accurate scale and have checked its accuracy recently. The photos are framed differently too...I'm much closer to the cam with the four pounder.

All three fish were caught within 40 yards of the same dock at my Dad's house. Profile pick is from that dock. Great spot to fish!

Whoa! I need to borrow your scales. This fish was 8lb 2 oz, about twice the size of that one,

My scale must be off also. The bass in my avatar was 7lb. 12oz. According to my scale. Maybe it was actually a double digit fish.

Biggest fish of the year and a PB for me caught back in February. Came in at an even 8lbs. Knocked a foot of slack in the line between my reel and the first guide when it hit.

Second biggest of the year caught in April coming in at 5lbs 5oz.

Unfortunately I threw out my back once and strained my hamstring twice this year which pretty much ended my fishing season early May. Going to heal strong so I can hit next year hard!
