hello, I'm considering buying a 15' tracker topper jon, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. How stable are they? I many fish small lakes, but we go to Ocean City MD and was wondering would a boat this size be safe in the bay there.

With a 60" beam, it isn't going to be the most stable boat there is.

I would suggest looking for something with a wider beam.

Inspect the transom carefully. I had a 14' and the only thing i ev er had wrong with it was the vibration from the motor caused cracks on the transom along the bottom and top. The transoms in those were horrifically reinforced.

If your heart is set on a jonboat, than a jonboat it will be.

Otherwise, I'd strongly recommend a "modified deep-V",

it's a far safer hull in a big chop.

I just noticed this.  The Topper is a flat-bottomed boat.  Not exactly the best boat for big(ger) water.
