I'm fairly new to the bass world and have had some success when fishing lakes or rivers with structure, but what do you target when structure is limited?

I'm headed to a small Oregon reservoir for largemouth, some of good size.  Low Fall water levels, 60 degree water.  The main forage base is stocked rainbow trout, bluegill and crayfish.  No Shad.  With the drawn down water levels there isn't any structure or vegetation to speak of, just mud bottom.  Two exceptions would be a few points and the riprap of the dam face.  Most of the lake is less than 15' with a little deeper water at the dam.  Any suggestion of where to look other than the points and dam?

I'm thinking I need to cover water so will probably start with a jackhammer along the bottom and an S-waver 168 where it's shallower.  Open to suggestions if you think something might work better.

That temp would have me thinking Arig or crank baits.

the biggest topwater walking bait you own-all day

If you just want to get bit, with the chance at a big fish:

Bluegill and crayfish make me think a jig or Texas rig.  Maybe a squarebill too.  Chatterbait isn't a bad idea.  Fish all the difference in bottom you can find.  Once you hit those hard and they stop producing fish, I'd go cover water, until I find something else to fish hard.  Might try a shakey head or T rig trick worm.

I'd try a jerkbait too.

Big bite:  As @BoatSquirrel said, big walking bait all day long.  Or throw some other big bait.  You've got to commit  to the big bait though.

Or throw a good sized jig.

Why are ya'll suggesting the big walking bait in this instance? Just curious. Because of the presence of the trout? Or the lack of cover?

Something that gets big bites, and you can cover water with it.
