South Bend XTC 35 is a spinning reel I was given by a dear friend of mine today since he stays busy and really can't fish anymore. Does anyone know much about this reel?

Retail was $18, close-out was $9. 

Kind of a cool counter-balanced handle, and long-stroke spool.  The size is medium-heavy freshwater, inshore.  We don't know where you live and what fish you may be able to chase. 

Put it on a basic spinning rod and go fishing.
