Hello, I just got a custom spinning reel since I got rid of my old one and was wondering if anyone could recommend a spinning rod that's quality but not too expensive?

South Bend XTC 35 is a spinning reel I was given by a dear friend of mine today since he stays busy and really can't fish anymore. Does anyone know much about this reel?

I just bought my first baitcaster from the pawn shop. I was wondering if anyone has used a Daiwa Procaster before, and if it's any good for bass fishing?

I can use a spincast and a spinning rod, I bought a fly rod not long ago (I just need to find a place that sells new line.), I'm wanting to learn to baitcast once I get a hang of the fly rod. I have an opportunity to buy a KastKing Royale Legend reel and was wondering if anyone here recommended it?

I moved to Statesboro a few months back and I'm looking to find some places to fish. I am not a college student, but they were doing work on the University's ponds and I'm sure they're unfishable right now; I'm not even sure they would let me fish there. I haven't fished in probably close to a year, if not a year. I'm jonesing to start back to fishing.

Hello, I've had my eye on this site for a few years and have been meaning to join. My Dad loves to fish, and started me off fishing when I was about 4. I learned to fish and swim in the Ohoopee River. I was raised using spincast, and then switched to spinning rod. I haven't fished in the past 7 or 8 months, I relocated to another town in Southeast Georgia, where I don't really know anyone with a fishing spot. I've been through a lot in that 7-8 month time period, and I'm recovering from some injuries too. I purchased a fly rod from a pawn shop, I bought a couple of flies from Walmart and I intend to buy some line, leader, and a tippet, and learn how to use it. It's great to be here, I look forward to meeting everybody.
