Hi all! 

 

Sorry to be that guy...But I have been hunting down this rod for a more affordable price for over a year now...and with all the chaos of life I forgot that Black Friday exists! So, does anyone know if St. Croixs can be found for discount and if you could maybe PM me a good site where I can finally get my dream rod? I feel that once I have that rod I can downsize so much of my gear and just use what I like.

They go on sale at TW for BF.  The price wont reflect the discount upon ordering it.  You will see the discount when you get your order conformation email.

If you want a discount search out the rod you want on the bay and filter the search to show listings that accept offers, then offer a price that reflects 25% off, you'll probably get a counter offer at 15 or 20% off.

St Croix keeps pretty tight control of their pricing.  Normally, you won't find them under MSRP unless the model has been discontinued.

There’s deals to be found, I just picked up a legend off the bay for $360 by doing what I posted above.
