Never used them before, but I've been reading a lot of people using them. I picked up a bag of the watermellon w/ black specs. Any suggestions on how to use them? I will be fishing from the shore.  What are the best methods of rigging and so forth?

Oh, and Im still learning.... so I may not be familiar with some of the "rig styles or lingo"

Wacky rig them, means just thread the hook right through the middle so both ends hang down.

Here's a tip.  You don't really work the senko.  Let it work for you.

Not unless your throwing them right into the slop.

I fish my Senkos Wacky all the time. Unless its in the slop. Than I break out the T-Rig.

But fish it wacky (hook through the middle) with a #5 circle hook. The hook basically sets itself in the jaw. This is by far the best setup that I myself have had using Senkos.

I use Black with blue flake and the same as you, watermeleon with black flakes.

i use watermelon black flake waggy rigged on a #1 finnese wide gap gamagtsu hook never had a problem hooking up or anything.

Is there somewhere that shows all the different styles of rigs and how to do them?

Sorry, let me rephrase my question.

I'm at work right now, and as much as I would love to, I dont have the time to read through all the helpful, and informative links that is on that thread. (I will read them when I get more time) I am getting off work in 20 minutes, and I am heading directly to the fishing store.... what hook do you suggest if I want to fish a 5" Senco wacky style?
