I'm reading some older articles and they are talking about older pork chunk but large  10 BIG DADDY PORK FROG the current large pork they was talking about you think?

Maybe, maybe not. The #101 was small spin size; #11 was standard size. There was a #1 Jumbo pork frog, as well as the #10 Big Daddy. Could be either of those last two. Another popular large piece of pork was the #800 Spring Lizard that was commonly used as a big jig trailer.

I liked the Spring Lizard .I used it for big bass . 

 

This day I was getting skunked and told my fishing partner "If I'm not going to catch bass , I might as well not be catching big ones ." Put a spring lizard on a jig and caught the only bass of the day .

I've still got a decent supply of the #800 Spring Lizards. I use these during the winter and pre-spawn as a jig trailer.

 

I will also use the #800 in white on a spinnerbait with a #7 Willow Leaf from now until the spawn. I don't catch many on this but the ones I do are generally over 3 pounds. I will also use this same spinnerbait with a white Jumbo pork frog from time to time.
