I just got a MH/f Abu Garcia veritas tournament edition spinning rod.

 

I'm currently using it pretty much every day to get more on the water time for a comprehensive review, but so far, I'm impressed.

    This. Casting distance increases substantially and you can cast into the wind easily without a birds nest. I also use mine for jerkbaits.
