Winter Ice Storm VA/NC/SC

Featured Replies

Anybody from Virginia, North Caroline, or South Carolina fish during that ice storm on the 16th? I tried going out during the storm to try my 68 Huddleston wedge tail swimbait for the first time. I got my one and only strike first cast, but I missed her. I'd appreciate any tips for fishing during cold months/winter fronts.

Fish before a front.  Not during.

No fishing for me. Too darn cold :D

Snowfall of 2 1/2" here in Yorktown. Current temp of 26 with "feel" of 17.

Cozy inside sipping coffee, talking with wife, watching tennis. Can't wait

for playoffs this afternoon.

From VA and can't fish, everything is froze up here in the mountains......I'm in the western part of the state.

The other issue is, I'm a lightweight, gotta be warmer than what we're getting. Lol

Is it typical to get this type of weather in SC?  The wife and I are thinking about selling our house in TN  and moving somewhere warmer and was looking at SC.
