Lithium Batteries

Featured Replies

Will these lithium batteries work with a minnkota onboard charger? or do you have to get a special charger? The batteries are already pricey and I do not want to have to get a new charger also. Thanks.

Here's the info for charging from the Dakota web site.

A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery."

Check the manual for your particular charger - even the basic Precision Charger line has a lithium option - the MK 110/220/330/etc PCL is rated for lithium batteries...it's the 'L' at the end that shows it's Lithium capable.
