Daiwa Rebellion Rod Line

Featured Replies

Anyone have any comments on this lineup? It seems to be in the Zodias, Levante realm of rod. Just can't seem to find alot about these suckers?

I went to my local shop and picked one up. I'm not exactly sure which model I had I think it was a 7'5 H, I also picked up the Zodias 7'3 H. Both felt super lite. I feel like everyone's gonna be team Zodias/Levante but I must say I really liked the tip on the Daiwa. It was a bit softer.

Just curious if anyone else has used one or knows about em.

I have a Zodias 6ft med/light casting rod and i can't say i have had it for a really long time i have only have it about 6 or 7 months. But what i can say is that it has held up really good with all the fish it has caught. They seem to be true to what they say to (which is amazing) when it says medium light it means medium light not to much but not to little perfect for me. Even tho I do not have a 7'5 or 7'3 to tell you how those do, i really like my 6ft rod and im happy with the rod.

I have a Rebellion 7ft Medium / Fast spinning rod. I used it heavily last year and it did great with 1/4oz free rigs, texas rigs and drop shots. I ran 10-20lb braid to leaders of various size. The rod is very light in weight and responsive. I like the grip as I hold three fingers above and one behind reel stem.

I like it so much I added a 7'3 MH Glass rod for this season. This will be all around cranking and chatterbait needs. Curious how it will compare to my Evergreens. The Rebellion glass is super light in weight in comparison.

i've heard mixed reviews on them to be fair. i love my tatula and tatula elites so personally i do not have a reason to switch. i also don't see any pro-staff daiwa guys using them over tatula, tatula elites, and BLX's, which typically isn't a great sign either.

Just got back from the store, played with the 6'10" MH-R 2 piece. Rod is light, nice tip, decent price. Cons for me at least was the color accents, foam grips not my favourite but not a deal breaker either. Still debating...hoping to here more reviews here.
