  1. Solid finish 24th out of 120 on the co-angler side this past week at the BASS Nation Regional Championship up on the St. Lawrence River. Tough derby for non boaters as it was a bed fishing extravaganza, but I ended up having a great first two days. Was sitting in 12th place going into day 3 but ended up slipping down to 24th as I was at the helm of my boater and scrounged up what I could. 4 fish limit for boaters and 3 fish limit for co-anglers. Fan casting a spybait, keitech, hair jig, and jerkbait were the keys to getting bites for me. Day 1: 3 fish limit - 11lb. 3oz. Day 2: 3 fish limit - 12lb. 1oz. Day 3: 3 fish limit - 8lb. 1 oz.
  2. d shad gets my vote. when fished weightless it has the same shimmy as a the senko. drives the fish nuts
  3. one of the more underwhelming “reveals” that i’ve seen in a while
  4. i've had a ton of luck and great hookup on the livetarget hollow body frog. spro bronzeye frog is right up there too.
  5. candlewood is by far the best fishing lake in CT. there are 20-25 pound tournament bags caught on the regular 3-4 times a week. in the summer it is an absolute mad house of pleasure boaters. it's a special lake where catching a 5lb largie and a 5lb smallie on the same day is a very good possibility.
  6. pretty sure he weighed both of them. he definitely didn’t intentionally snag them but he was saying how he was seeing a bunch of fish along the wall all together
  7. i briefly saw his flurry where he snagged two (literally snagged) pretty quick
  8. i can't catch a cold on the dark sleeper so i'll leave this one alone. the bait monkey is unhappy with me
  9. if we're strictly talking tackle.. rods/reels: daiwa soft baits: big bites baits hard baits: rapala
  10. as long as my stuff is here before June 17th i'll be good to go ? my last large order was on 5/4 and arrived 5/12 with standard shipping.
  11. I place decent size orders at TW pretty often, and haven't had any real issues with shipping times. Yesterday I put in a fairly large order to stock up on some essentials for the BASS Nation regional in two weeks on the St. Lawrence river. I gladly paid for expedited shipping, so hopefully I don't get screwed..
  12. a 24 pack of hot dogs, a 24 pack of hamburgers, and a 30 pack of budweiser
  13. i fished zoom flukes forever, but i've recently hopped onto the yamamoto d-shad train. the fall rate is fantastic with the heavy salt content and you cannot beat the senko "shimmy" that it has
  14. my educated guess would be "medium"
  15. i’ve been almost exclusively using the bass pro shop teaser tubes (2.75”) lately with great success catching largemouth and smallmouth. green pumpkin purple flake roadkill has been my color of choice. absolute dynamite on a 1/8 or 3/16oz. tube jig head fishing bedding fish, grass, rock piles and walls, docks, etc.
  16. i have 3/8 and 1/2oz all available ?
  17. zoom horny toad works well for me
  18. megasbass dark sleepers. they hate my guts
  19. i use the normal mosquito for majority of my dropshot fishing when nose hooking the bait. never had an issue
  20. instead of a steady retrieve, i like to mix in pauses and sporadic hops all the way back to the boat/bank
  21. sounds terrible
