No Expride experience here. I do currently have the 7'2 H and 7'1 H+ Zodias, along with Evergeen 7'3 Heavy. I also have a few custom Taipan blanks in 7'3 Heavy. I like 7 - 7'3 Heavies and was buying/trading often. No longer so. I am no sensitivity expert but my experience is Steez subjectively has the most sensitivity of what I have (also heaviest price tag). Do/did I catch less fish on my Zodias or Evergreen rods or Zillion? Not at all. The Steez ROI is not there anymore for me with the price differences. I can speak to the actions better. Steez is fast with ample power. Zillion was slightly slower with what I thought same power. Zodias closer to Zillion. Omnia fishing has a bend demo on Zillion 7'2 Heavy on YouTube for visuals. From last month 'Bending Texas Rig Rods' and first one they demo. Hope that aids you!

@10,000 lakes Bassin I liked mine but the truck door gremlin broke it while loading up my kayak. The replacement bait monkey was tamed...for now. I hope you have a longer relationship with yours than mine.

I'm no savvy reviewer but I bought the 7'2 Heavy/Fast. I have been using it for 5/8oz spinner baits, 6 inch magdrafts, heavier plastics to pitch, etc. I have been more than impressed. It has power, a fast tip but sneakily becomes more moderate under load. I bought mine to directly compare to a Steez power pitch (7'2 Heavy/fast). In my hands they are incredibly close in performance and I would happily buy the Zillion again. I want to try the 7'3Heavy / Regular for chatterbaits but cannot give up my Rebellion glass rods so that will wait.

Same as above but flipped - I have a PA14 with a 7 inch unit. H rail Ram clamp, pivot arm and on my right side near the pre-cut cable exit. I retrieve and land fish on left hand side. It doesn't get in the way, I can touch menu sitting and still see it standing. If I had a larger unit I think I would keep same spot and just angle it more. I do mount my phone behind the pedals where the sail mount would go. It does get some debris on it but that is unavoidable in a kayak I feel.

I preferred the extra power left over on the MH with a full sized trailer + 3/8. Though in reality most of my time with chatterbaits is spent with the 1/2oz - 3/4oz and the H. You may find it is adequate for your needs. I have come to prefer the medium for treble hooks only. I recommend any of the glass models, they are impressive. Also, if this aids you: the medium does have a shorter grip that my take some adjustment. It is about 9.5 inches from reel seat to butt end. My small scale weighs it at 3.89oz.

If you're using up to 3/8th oz head and lighter trailers I believe you would be ok. I would not feel comfortable using the medium with 3/8 + a denser trailer like a 4inch zako. I have used 3/8oz stealthblade a small 3 inch craw trailer and it performed just fine. If you're in some cover I would lean towards MH if chatterbait is the main focus. If you're a straight braid guy my concerns may not matter. I use straight fluoro on these and can only speak to that. I really like the medium for those 1/1.5 sized squarebills.

Thank you! I'm not a big fan of cork and this line has checked many boxes with the grip styling. I have a mixture of the EVA gripped rods in this price bracket: Rebellions, Evergreen Combat Sticks and one Zodias for good measure. I'm not sure why EVA is my preference but this hobby of ours surely has an exact rod for every taste under the sun. The Rebellions are rarely discussed and I don't believe "pushed" too much for US market. I pick them up as sales or used come along to complete the collection.

I have the 7'4 H Glass, 7'3 MH Glass, 7 M Glass, 7 ML casting, 7'3 H/Fast casting and 7 M/Fast spin. I think they are incredible rods and will probably buy the whole line just for collector's ocd. I hope you enjoy whichever model you picked up. All the models I have are light, clean and seem to have good QC. I feel they excel at all things I've thrown at them. The casting grip is thinner and shorter than others (took some time to adjust versus my customs and Combat Sticks) but I have no issues with pure performance. Should note - I'm referring to Rebellion line ( black blanks / black Eva grips).

I'm a spinning guy for jerkbaits. I like it best as the windiest time of the year are when they shine for me. I fish from a kayak and stand/sit throughout the day. I like that I can get a good response from any angle with the spinning rod with my movement.

I have a Cookai Gulf 72MS that I really like for the jrs and 1/2oz class jerkbaits. The Cookai is the salt oriented Destroyer P5 variant. It is a 2 piece rod (mid shaft ferrule). I think it was intended for 1/2 - 5/8oz hard baits for mackerel and other same class fish. Other than being a two piece rod, I believe it is similar in specs to the p5 Windbuster.

It's a nice line. I buy it in 1200 yard spools. I use it frequently for glides/wakes/crawlers. I suggest buying by diameter rather than listed strength. I use the 14lb for 2.5oz glides without hassle on a 200 sized reel. The 14lb is similar diameter as many 20lb fluoros.

Bruised Green Pumpkin is another great color in the Jackhammer. It is Black, Blue and Green Pumpkin mixed. I like the painted blade, though it wears off after some use. This color and a Green Pumpkin like trailer is a daily driver for me in heavy gilled waters.

@SKFishing You're welcome! I hope you have the same enjoyable experience with it as I have. The value proposition for the Rebellion line is great and it is even more of a deal with all the sales going on now.
