Casting Spoons - Do You Use A Swivel?

Featured Replies

I'm talking about Kastmasters, Little Cleos, Krocodile and such.

I add a swivel according to weight and size of the casting spoon attached to the split ring.

I don't know if using a swivel hinders the correct action of the spoon or not. Why I say that, I have caught bass on a casting spoon using a swivel. I use mostly baitcast setups and I've not experienced any line twist while having a swivel connected to the spoon.
