There was an event on Big Stone Lake operated by Glacial Lakes Bass Club on May 7 that produced a 31.75 pound bag.  Additionally, someone weighed in a 7.0 pounder.  For those of you that do not know where Big Stone Lake is, its on the border of Minnesota and South Dakota.  Quite a bag of largemouth for being this far north.  I have fished this lake a couple times years ago, but it was for walleyes.  I didn't realize it had such an impressive population of largemouth bass.  Here are the results.

Good grief. That's a heck of a bag for up north

Been trying to get to SoDak for 3 weeks now. Those guys either picked the right day, or caught the fish in 25 mph winds.
