There's a lot of VERY nice rigs on the market today.  Too bad you can't take the best of them all and make one boat.  I really love the tackle storage setup on the Phoenix 721, for instance.  Anyway, you asked for favorites, so......with price no object.....it's the new BassCat Eyra, hands down 8-)

I'm a big fan of aluminum bass boats, like the G3 ones, bass trackers, and the triton aluminum bass boats and i could keep going on and on. But i love all bass boats haha i just wish i had one  :'(

I like aluminum deep-V's, but then again I fish a lot of big water and need the security and versatility they provide. Sometimes I just hate fishing in my buddy's flat bottom bass boat (Tracker). What a wet ride! And you know something? I don't draft very much more water that he does. So, for me, it's a no-brainer.

Totally agree with you. I don't think I'll ever buy a standard bass boat. I live to close to saltwater to limit myself to a freshwater boat. If I ever join a bass club I'll be "that guy" with the deep-v.

I'm "that guy" too.  I have a 2009 Lund Predator exactly like the one in the pic except with a 4 stroke motor.  I think its perfect for me and my family!  The only downside I can find versus a traditional bass boat is that the slightly higher profile makes fishing windy shorelines a chore for the guy on the trolling motor.  Other than that, its safe in big water, fast for its motor size/length, lighter than a same-length glass boat, far more durable when we go to Canada and there are going to be bumps on rocks, and easier to tow with a regular suv/truck since its lighter.

I've gone full circle in that I started with aluminum and now as a senior citizen I plan to finish with aluminum.

Least Favorite:  2009 Skeeter 20i.  My new $50,000.00 + Skeeter 201 is by far the worst bass boat I have ever been in.  The wiring is a total mess with no labels, in line circuit breakers placed haphazardly throughout the boat with no labels and the boat porpoises uncontrollably below 35mph with thousands of my personal dollars spent to try to fix the problem.  No it is not operator induced.  Two Skeeter Dealers, one the oldest dealer in Florida, have been unable to resolve the issue and the Skeeter Factory reps will not help them.  I have called Skeeter customer service dozens of times over the last 10 months, only to get voice mails each time and I have yet to get a return call.  Maria and Robert, check your voice mails.

I am in the middle of building a new house and moving, but as soon as I get settled I am going to turn this  piece of Skeeter into a Ranger.  Anybody want a sweet deal on a like new Skeeter 20i with all the goodies?  Don't know what a Ranger dealer will give me for it in trade but I will sell it to an individual at an incredible price when I am ready for the trade.
