San Francisco Bay Area weather is getting annoying.

all work-week long we had clear skies and hot weather.  I think it was mid 90's all week.

come weekend?  cold, threatening rain.  and WINDS.    as a kayaker, wind really tempers my mood to fish.  I'll get out this weekend for sure, but dang it if I won't need my rain jacket.  I needed it last weekend as well!  CLEARLAKE has 90% chance of rain.  Great since they need it badly for that lake, but come on!  what is wrong with a Wednesday rain storm when I am deeply buried in a WebEX meeting?

I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat.  I elected to stay home just in case I have something nefarious going on with respect to a virus.   I did take Monday off.  Windy Monday.  I'll fish Monday.  :(

Hope you're OK.

Frost here this morning.

Come at me Bro

Around here if you want to avoid the wind, which being in a canoe I do, you need to be off the water before noon.

Here's the 10 day wind forecast.

Everyone is praying for rain and you are whining.

Seems like alot of our resavoirs are only a shadow of their former glory, who knows maybe the rain man will come around again ?

I hear you - it's been windy more frequently than usual this year in Silicon Valley.  My hobbies are cycling, shooting, and fishing.  While I don't avoid windy days, it definitely makes things more difficult.

I am not whining about rain..just it being on the weekend I took an extra day off.  I wish it the skies dump..just on a Wednesday.

and not everyone is praying for rain.  this rain just shut down my huge construction job.  this weather isn't typical for my area.  my Contractor is bummed.

1 rare rain event in the Bay Area in June, the foreseeable future the next 3 months is forecasted to be dry, starting Monday.

It was windy at Tulloch this weekend too but I only dock fished at my Dad's (got a two pounder, lost a dink). It was also humid. Was pretty nasty. Overcast but no rain Fri - Sun.
