Featured Replies

I have been bass fishing for about ten years hard and heavy.I have spent several hundred dollars on rods and reels, fishing tackle and the gotta have new lures. but im here to tell you i was fishing with a co-worker last saturday afternoon i was throwing evey thing i had in the box and then some. i was throwing so hard every cast ended up in backlash.now here it is hot enough to fry a egg on  the side walk 300 dollar rod and reel and my fishing partner is over there wearing them out i i dont even have a nibble!!!what made it worst he was fishing with a zebco 33. now my question .he was using ultra vibe worms by zoom they look like a stick bait with a fish tail. we were in dark and clear water he was using a purple one and the fish were on it like the knats were on me. where can i get these worms?he told me bass pro but that is a hour away does any one else make these worms besides zoom and has any one else had luck with them?

Re: Zoom Speed Worms

Reply #1 - Today at 2:31pm      ive caught more fish over 5 lbs. this yr. than on any other bait in this one lake i fish. this pattern has held up since the spawn.i also fish it regularly in rodmans resevoir w/ a 12'' leader and swivel buzzed just on top of submerged hydrilla.the swivel keeps the line twist down.i use it more than a toad ,the hook ups are 99.9%,if they hit it they dont miss.

in some instances i'll switch to a producto buzz tail shad, just a little bulkier bait but same results.

i fish the speedworm three cast first i'll buzz it on top.2nd cast i'll swim it just under the surface,3 rd cast i'll fish it like a worm and let it fall.all three work.

great bait ,i always have a speedworm and a trick worm tied on.

If you can't find the Zoom U-Vibe Speedworms, you can make you own by cutting a v-shaped notch out of a paddle tail worm.

Wow, that's a great idea.  Nice!
