Rapala DT20 different lips

Hi guys. I had and old Rapala DT20 Whit sureset hooks and i only use one time years before. Yesterday i bought a one DT20 new and i see the size of líp are different and new It is bigger. The old had a crack near to the líp, and i used only one time and i think only a few minutes. It is possible Rapala change the Lips in DT20 for make stronger? If i fish Whit old and caught a Big one, It is possible i only get the líp because lure Broken?

The DT’s are an all time favorite. I max out with the DT 10. River is but so deep in my case. I’ve heard the horror stories of broken lips, can’t say I’ve experienced it. I fish rocks and all’s been well for many years. 
 

But if you catch alot of grass and you start slapping them around on the water surface to remove it I guess a bill will break. 
 

If you think your old bill has a crack don’t use it. 

I would have to dig em out to be sure but the DT20s I have look like the bill on the left and they were bought when they 1st came out. I have had the DT bills break but only on smaller plugs DT-6 or DT Thug.
