Fusible link

Featured Replies

I installed a sounder at the bow of my boat. All the spaces on the Buss Bar were taken, so I had to use a fusible link.

I wasn't impressed at the thought of the inline type of link that accomodates the glass tube fuses with metal caps.

Went to the nearby ACE hardware store and found the ideal solution for marine applications.

It accomodates the minifuses and has a cover which seals the fuse and its receptacle from moisture. Cheap, at less than four bucks.

Nice find.  I'll be using these in my kayaks.  The little cylinder fuses really do suck.

But that means you have to go into a Radio Shack  :)
