and I decided that although I want one....I can definitely live without it.  Just under 20K!!!!!! :)

And Yamaha no longer produces the 200 to 300 HPDI.  The largest HPDI shown online is the 175.

Nearly had a stroke when you saw the sticker price of the four stroke, eh?

check out Eds Marine in Va. his prices are comparable to Mercury for the SHO 200, 225, 250

V-MAX 200 HP 4-STROKE EFI SHO YAMAHA 20" $13,650

V-MAX 225 HP 4-STROKE EFI SHO YAMAHA 20" $14,500

V-MAX 250 HP 4-STROKE EFI SHO YAMAHA 20" $15,400

Not all roads are paved. Not all toys are small. Not all trucks come with over 390 horsepower and get 20 miles per gallon. But then again....not all trucks....are a RAM. The all new Ram 1500.

I have read some negative comments on ED's. A lot of them.

IDK, my granddad has one and we have had very fe issues except for a couple overheatings, but I think those were user issues.

Well theres a simple solution... buy a MERCURY son!

The reply to that is simple....I don't want one.

My Dad's boat has a new Yamaha 150 4 Stroke. We can fish 10 times on the same gas vs. his 2 stroke Evinrude 150 he used to have. Just my 2 cents.

We weren't talking about about RAM's though.......  :;)

My friend has a 200hp VMax Series 2 motor on the back of his Skeeter.  That thing is crazy.  It runs awesomely and fires up on the first crank every single time.  It has definitely made me want to get a Yamaha when the time comes to buy my own boat.

I would love to try one of the SHO's.  It seems that Yamaha has got them figured out.
