DC has 3 MLF victories. All using livescope. There’s no doubt that Wheeler and him are ahead of everyone else in that technology.

Pretty wild! FFS definitely is an advantage and takes everything to the next level.

It would be good for me because I would sure love to catch 96lbs of smallmouth LoL.

We'll see how long it makes it, they just banned it in Musky tourneys discussed here:

Nothing more boring than watching someone looking at a video screen for hours.
It’s why I don’t watch MLF much anymore.

Sorry, that’s just me.

I'm glad Andy Montgomery went into the docks on the last day and was having a blast catching them flippin into the shade, etc with no FFS. Good ol bass fishing and he did pretty decent!

There's just as much screen watching in BASS.  Did you not enjoy watching Jason Christie win the Classic this year, too?  Or, Livesay on Fork?  Or, Palaniuk anywhere?  BMP pulling an 8-pounder out of a brush pile on Santee a few years ago, with a dropshot nonetheless, was pretty exciting to me!

Nope. I enjoyed the tournament in Texas where they were flipping brush and trees but still don’t enjoy watching these competitors looking at their screens for hours on end.

I fish Cayuga a lot, and can attest to the size of the smallmouth bass (and largemouth too). My personal best there is a 5lb 15oz smally and a 5lb 12oz largemount. And I would point out that the lake runs basically north and south, and when the wind is coming from the north, you can wipe out your trolling motor batteries in just a few hours.  Some local anglers use drift socks to slow drift down the shoreline, and only use the trolling motor to steer with. Saves a lot of battery power. Not sure how functional that would be in a tournament, but it works for a weekend fisherman.
