Long time no posts vacations and working and days on the water hardly anytime to get online, but now back to serious business I've found a chatter style bait that I actually like and works well. The only thing I don't like is that the blade wears the finish off of the jig head but I caught my PB on it so i can't complain too much. The white Strike King Pure Poison in 3/8 oz, caught my Personal Best last week of 23 and 3/4", and 7lb 12oz. Her name's Betsy she was kept alive, weighed, and released.

Money PB on MONEY Strike King lures.  Never fails.  I'm an advocate of their Mini spinners with colorado and willow blades.  My favorite is white/red skirt.  I love the action of these spinners and the variety of retrieves you can do with them.  I also think Kevin Van Dam's Signature model is a great spinner as well.  Plan on using them this Sunday out at Lake Anna.

GREAT fish man.  I wish I could get one that big.  My PB is MUCH smaller lol (2.5lbs).  Makes me wanna try a chatterbait now.  Too bad none of the stores by me sell that poison chatter except for Dicks and thats about a 25 minute ride.  Maybe I'll drive up there next weekend now that I saw that toad.  What kind of water did you catch it on?  Rez, river, lake, or pond?
