I prefer North American fisherman magazine and In fisherman because i am kind of a tackle fanatic.

same thing happened to me. I caught about 6 common carp, and a rainbow trout. Didnt have my cameria.

I would think you guys caught the paddlefish by snagging it. I never heard anyone say live bait or artificals work on a paddlefish.

Dont read bass magazines that much any more but In fisherman was my favorite.

Your right, T-rig is the only guy on the forum from Europe. It is a really treat for us to see all those cool fish from Sweden that he catches. As you seen from the pics, he catches Northern strain largemouth bass, which are the older, smarter strain of largemouth. Also Sweden's waters being so crystal clear, the bass vision is at its best. Which makes it more of a challenge to catch. 8-)

The biggest bass caught in Africa stands at 18 lbs, U.S. still holds the world record but for how long, no one knows. Many other countries are catching up in becoming world records holders. I know Japans record stands at 19 lbs. 8-) Maybe someday there will be world bass tournaments. U.S. vs Japan that would better then bass masters classic.

Big lay down, runs 8-18ft would be the area i would fish.

I learned most of my fishing from my grandfather who was born in California. I learned alot from fishing in New yorks clear waters. Fishing for old Northernstrain largemouth prepare you for any condition. Fishing in the midwest,or deep south is very easy, you can catch a 5 lb without even trying, or with little skill. Well not little skill but its way more competitive in Northeast and westcoast. Which forces you to become better angler.

Tilapia + largemouth bass = lake el salto tropy bass, but you can go fly fishing for tilapia.

thanks for the tips champ, 8-) 1.shiners are best live bait 2. nightcrawlers fished along the bottom 3. live dads fished along the bottom 4.bluegill,eel,crappie,warmouth,bullhead,bird,mice,bowfin,snakehead,snakes,ect My trophy largemouth bass was caught on nightcrawlers along the bottom but i seen the fish come out of cover, near the top of water to smash shiners. Golden Scales flying everywhere like glitter. I suggest using Octopus style hooks for live bait. I used a ocean octopus style hook with 40 lb mono to musle the fish out of cover. I think live dads are third on the list because they also catch alot of catfish in the process. I know you'll catch that 40 lb striper Champ. 8-)

What do you guys think the worst fishing conditions are? Rain and cold fronts are the only time i put up the rod and reel.

This guy is a great pro, I remember him best with his tube and jig tactics. 8-)
