Saying I love you..

My dad's generation( WW2), they never did this. I'm sure my dad told my mom " I love you " and he said it to grandkids  and us kids also.        I never saw him hug another man, or very seldom another women at all.                         These things have become more acceptable now. My dad's generation - a firm handshake worked. But, my dad loved people. We all knew it too. Actually saying it just wasn't his style. He was old school.
