hows the fishing?  i am grabbing my raingear and headed to Clearlake (saturday) .  see if there is any interest in some of my moving baits.  i had fun with a deep diver crank this time last year.  

 

but this year thusfar has been entirely different and not in  good way. 

There’s been a lot Less pressure on the lake lately, as Fish & Wildlife

has cancelled all the permits due to water conditions. Hope you have a great trip 

check in before heading up there. If you can't fish Clear, Delta and Berry are there. 

Just an FYI, Stripers are starting to flow into Disco Bay so my guess the rest of the Delta as well.  It’s been awhile since I’ve been out but finally got out on Saturday for a few hours and a consistent bite.  My buddy got the largest one which was 7lbs and we had a bunch in the 3lb range as well as lots of schoolies….I think the rain helped get them moving

I drive over the Napa river every work day.  I think that channel will have stripers.  it is near the mouth into bay.  I assume that is one of their entry points.
