Has anybody bought Humminbird electronics from the

www.factoryoutletstore.com it seems like there prices are better than everybody elses and I just want to make sure they are legit.

Nobody knows anyone that has bought anything from this site or has any information about there experience in buying something from the factory outlet store?

I have purchased two seperate items from them. One was a 700 series. The other was a transducer.

Both transactions went smoothly. Prompt email and tracking info etc.

The item descriptions can be a bit confusing though. I remember some confusion and mis-information in regards to whether a unit had the navionics bundle or not.

Confirm model numbers before purchase to make sure you get what you are looking for.

I've purchased all sorts of equipment off the internet, searching only for the lowest price. My purchases include a Terrova trolling motor and a Lowrance HDS-8 among many others.  With only one exception, all equipment was delivered promptly and in good condition.  The exception was a piece of software I ordered that the company claimed to have in stock.  After two weeks with no delivery I called the company and was informed that the item was on back-order.  I canceled the order with no problem.

Just make sure that you are dealing with a U.S. company and you will have few, if any, problems.

I purchased a 997 from them two years ago, everything went perfectly smooth. I even recommended them to my BIL and he bought a 997 from them a couple of months after I did. I would use them again if they still have the best price.
