I'm taking a look at the Okuma Aria to make a cheap setup I can bring on trips where fishing isn't the main focus. Probably only going to use it a few times a year.

 

Anyone have any experience with this reel in any size? What do you think? Would you spend a bit more money to get something nicer? Thanks in advance.

    No experience with the Aria reels but I have good luck with other models as beater reels. I used an Avenger on 6' previous gen lightning shock, and a few Ceymars in the 20 and 30 sizes. I like them so much I've been thinking about moving up to the next level and trying a ceymar HD.
