13 Fishing Oman Panfish rod

Featured Replies

Is anyone using this rod? I've been debating about purchasing two of the 6'9' light action rods for panfishing.

Thanks for looking.

Have two of the 6'9" ultralight models.

They are okay, but not the best.

I would say they are comparable to the daiwa presso in terms of action and sensitivity.

I don't know how the light action feels but I wasn't too impressed with the ultralight rods I have. There are cheaper rods that feels better in my opinion.

Thank you for your reply. Sounds like the rod has fairly high end components, but I was wondering about the rod itself. I've been toying with the idea of trying them. I'm also looking at the BPS Panfish Elite rod at half the price.

Thanks again!

I really enjoy both my ultralight and light powered bps panfish elite rods.

@volzfan59 First off I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and I know I’m sounding like a broken record recommending this series in a few different threads but again “Fuji K Guides and a Fuji reel seat” for this price….I’m hoping you’ll follow up after receiving them and hopefully catching a few fish on them. I’m actually interested in seeing if I’m just being a fanboy but I’m really into ultralight/light powered fishing rods having 6 combos on hand currently and looking to add 1 higher end combo this season. By the way if you don’t mind my asking which models/lengths did you purchase and what reels are you adding?
