Walmarts Yamamoto Baits vs Garys?

Featured Replies

These are new at our local Walmart. These Yamamoto baits are half the price of Gary Yamamoto baits and say they are made in the US.  Anyone know the story?

Same formula?

If the Walmart's in your area have a clearance area, check it out. I purchased around 10 bags in the old packaging for $1.00 each. Five or six in green pumpkin, the rest in a red color. Red shad maybe?

Supposed to be. They shorted the new packaging 3 baits and are probably using a faster/more profitable manufacturing process, hence the lower price. Or they had a much higher profit margin capitalizing off the name. Brian.
