A way to turn of hazard alerts on auto guidance navigation (Echomap UHD72SV)

Featured Replies

Finally found the autoguidance navigation, and it seems to be setting up reasonable paths. BUT it draws lines over buoys, and gives me a hazard alert any time I'm near one, which takes up more than half the screen. It requires me to release the throttle (on a Seadoo) to tap OK to dismiss the alert. If it was 1 or 2 it wouldn't be bad, but the autoguidance seems to track through every buoy...(I can see the buoys, they aren't hazards).

Does anyone know of a way to turn off all hazard alerts or have them automatically dismiss after being present for a few seconds? Or better yet, have it ignore buoys?

Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~

Auto Guidance navigation is for planning purposes only and does not replace safe navigation operations.

PLEASE take & complete a reputable Boating Safety course.

Very Soon.
