Got out on a lake in southern NY for the first time in a long time. Water temps were 50-55, it seems like we missed the jerkbait bite this year. The bodies of water I fish do not allow any type of motors , so we row around looking for fish, wind forecast was low winds, weatherman was wrong , winds were blowing at around 10-15 mph at certain points of the day. The fish seemed to like jigs, blades and senkos. Caught around 30 bass,2 trout and a super slimy pickerel over 7 hours of fishing. Most fish looked like this...
