I am fishing the high school National tournament in la Crosse Wisconsin on the Mississippi River, and I am wondering if anyone knows if there is Shad up here or what the bass are feeding on up here? Thanks!

    I don't fish over there so I can't comment on shad but I know for a fact there's plenty of yellow perch, plenty of people catch them through the ice on the river.

    Go on YouTube or apple podcast app and search hellabass. He has a good podcast about fishing that area of the Mississippi
