inertia or slyder

Featured Replies

i am kind of stuck in a pickle here.....i want either the slyder or the inertia....wich one do u guys think i should get.....please help

It depends on what kind of fishing you are going to do.  If it is going to be used as a jig or other type of finesse reel, I would go with the Slyder.  If it is going to be used as a everything reel, I would get the Inertia.  The Inertia would be good for spinnerbaits, crankbaits, worm fishing, and finesse.  While the Slyder will only be good for finesse fishing or burning baits.

This is just my opinion though...I have the Slyder and it is a good reel.  I had some issues with it when I first got it, but when I broke it in, all the issues left.  My next reel is most likely going to be the Inertia or the Vision.  I haven't made my mind up yet.  I may just save my money and buy a couple of the new reels next year! ;)
