NRX+ 852s Spinning (Senko Stick)

Featured Replies

Considering picking up this rod for Senkos.  I throw the 6" about 95% of the time though.  Question for guys using it.  Can it handle the 6" version, or is it only good for the 5" and smaller?  My gut tells me the 6" is too heavy for the 852s, which is a Medium power rated to 3/8oz.

I have the 803S NRX and a 6in tops it out so I would definitely say the 852S will be too light.  A 5in Senko would be it's max.

I also fish senko a lot and I use the NRX+852.

Got it last year, and I absolutely love that rod, probably my favorite out of all I own. Works perfectly  with 6 inch worms.

I like the Loomis 852c JWR for 6”.

it’s a great all around rod for 1/8-3/8 baits.
