Pinnacle ISP10

Featured Replies

I have an ISP10 that  I am trying to service, but I can't remove the sideplate. I can remove the handle, spool tension cap, and all of the screws, the sideplate won't come off though. Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Twist the side plate counter clockwise, I think its just an interference fit, IIRC.

Remove the side plate, and the spool. The screw is behind the spool.

I have to warn you, if your having trouble at this point, it might be worth the $15 to have Pinnacle do the maintenance for you, or have it serviced by a pro.  It might save you the headache in the long run.

It sounds like you're talking about the handle-side sideplate.  If that's the case, there is a screw you'll need to remove on the inside of that sideplate.  You can access/remove that screw by removing the other sideplate and pulling out the spool.  Hope this helps.  If you need additional assistance, please feel free to contact Greg Imlay our service manager (customerservice@pinnaclefishing.com)

I read earlier there was a video only available to registered members.  I can't find that posted now does anybody know where to find this or has anyone got better directions on how to get the sideplate off of this reel (isp10)?  I haven't had any luck.
