You bet! The XLT has a gold titanium deposition finish and only comes in a 7.3:1 gear ratio. That's the only difference...The XT models come in a 7.3:1, 6.4:1 and a 4.7:1 Have a great weekend!

First time down at Falcon and we had a blast pounding the bush. Just flipped the beavers and a new Xcite plastic that Lloyd wanted us to give a try. Hi Diggy, I love the finesse wheel on the Slyder...it really does work and it's our version to Daiwa's Twitchin' Bar and don't worry, the reel will function just as smoothly as the Coda regarding the bearings. I would have made the same choice. Good luck!

Good job on purchasing the Slyder. The finesse wheel is great when the bass are sluggish and when they want a faster presentation the 7.0:1 gear ratio gives you the speed you need when the fish are really active. The Slyder basically allows you to fish whatever techniques are required on any given time of day. Good luck!

If you are referring to the VS5 Round they have been out of production for over 15 years. Every so often we see one being sold off Ebay and I would start there if you are looking to sell them. Price will vary depending on the condition of the reels, maybe 20-30 bucks... Good luck!
