Just got my 6'6''MH Worm/Jig rod today.  My first impression, like others I have read, is the weight of the rod, it's really light and decently balanced.  I've paired it with a Pflueger Patriarch 64LP and really like how they balance together.  I plan on fishing several different techniques with the rod to really dial in where it will fit in my arsenal. 

Once I get a chance to put it through the paces, I plan on starting with a tube, t-rig, and smaller finesse jig like a Bitsy Bug or Bitsy Flip, just to fulfill it's labeled purpose.  I am also interested in how it might throw spinnerbaits, small swimbaits, and topwater.  I use mostly 7' rods so I feel that the shorter length may really come in handy for close quarters fishing.

I am also looking forward to giving the Fuji ACS reel seat a chance.  I've tended to dismiss rods with this reel seat when purchasing rods because while it feels comfortable without a reel, I was skeptical of how it would feel with a reel.  I have been surprised thus far and look forward to really trying it out. 

So far my impressions are good and soon we'll see how it works out on the water.  Thanks Pinnacle1 and all at Silstar, so far it seems like you have a winner on your hands with this new series of rods.

Thanks for the update on your new Pinnacle Tournament Class Perfecta rod.  Glad you like it.  We think you'll really be impressed once you get this rod out on the water.  As you mentioned, it's as light as a feather, but it's also extremely sensitive, making it great for worming/jigging applications.  The proprietary Double Helical Construction process we use to make our new Perfecta rods allows us to eliminate glass scrim and resin for less weight and maximumu sensitivity.  Wraps of carbon tape around a high-modulus graphite prepreg "core" also make this blank extremely strong and durable.  We think the quality and performance of our new Tournament Class Perfecta rods is superior to top-of-the-line bass rods from G. Loomis or St. Croix, but we'll be offering ours at about half the price of those models (MSRP for the model you received is $159.99).  We'll look forward to reading your on-the-water review.

Just wanted to give a little update after taking this rod the Guntersville and landing, not only my biggest fish of the trip, but my biggest to date with it. It was 6-14 and the rod never felt underpowered or stressed. I was also impressed with the sensitivity of the rod while fishing the grass there, I've mainly fished it around rocks with jigs so the feel was very different. This rod has really impressed me, so much that I have bought my second Pinnacle Perfecta rod, the 7'2''M spinning rod that hasn't seen much action yet but handled a 5lb channel cat wonderfully.
