How long before they feed again?

With New England weather especially this season, the only thing consistent is the instability. Post frontal is prime time to look for inflows/tributaries, even just a little trickle of runoff is enough to position fish around it.

^This^ is a great reminder for me. I sometimes forget to work these areas.

Me too! The grayer the day, the happier I am.

How long does it take you to make a sandwich when you feed again? Fish can't live without nourishment. They need to eat.

Good point. However, they do get mighty fussy about the sandwich they're willing to eat following a cold front.

They might. You need to figure it out. So let's throw this out there. Front comes thru last night. Front means what? High pressure or low pressure comes thru. So what happens when a front come thru? Fish will revert to what's comfortable to them if they can. If they can't, it's panic mode. You ain't gonna catch any fish in panic mode. Revert back to cover and structure and fish very tight to it. 2 or 3 pitches at different angles to the same spot. The spot you know always holds fish.

I have never used a trick worm. Do you wacky hook them? I also don't use weights when wacky fishing. I've tried them because I like the notion of the weight making the worm flap like a bird when it falls, but the weeds are so close to the surface that weeds are all I catch when I weight a Senko.

Yeah, I wacky hook the trick worms. They give a nice action imo. I use either the Zoom trick worms or the Gambler sweebo's. I'll use wacky jig heads most of the time. I've never put nail weights in the worms.

I know what you mean with the weeds being so close to the surface. Lots of floating and submerged vegetation where I fish regularly. While the wacky jigs I use are weedless, they don't always work and I'll pull in a dang salad sometimes lol.
