Knots in general

Well, I’ve said it enough but I think the FG is just the king of connection knots. I tie it on and off the water and a good portion of the time, it will outlast whatever knot I tie to the lure or hook. Exceptions are a really really good palomar or a double improved clinch knot, which hardly ever breaks. It’s just messy.

The palomar is a fantastic knot for all lines but it is finicky. Easy to mess up and sorta hard to master with all lure categories. It’s deceptive, because it looks so simple
