Anyone have experience with Roboworm ReBarb hooks specifically? Need help sizing

Featured Replies

Wondering what sizes ya'll use for weedless drop shotting these baits:

  • 4.5" finesse worms (e.g. 4.5" roboworm or zoom finesse worm)
  • 6" roboworm
  • 6.5" zoom trick worm
  • 7" roboworm

Again, I'm asking about roboworm ReBarb hooks specifically. Not any other brand/ line of hooks.

Also: Does your answer change if you plan on t-rigging those baits instead dropshotting?

When I was using them for this purpose, #1

I've used size 1/0 with the 4.5 Roboworm, and 2/0 for the 6" size.

I use the same size for t rig or drop shot.

Yep.

And the Rebarb hooks are available in light and medium wire versions.

1/0 for the drop shot, 4/0 medium wire for Texas and Carolina rigging.

I'm with Mobasser.  I dont own any over 2/0.

great hook.  bent needles.  seriously sharp.

i use the 1/0 for 4 inch worms and the 2/0 for 6 inch. i also like the light wire for drop shot.

You drop shot both the 4.5" and 6" worm on a 1/0? or just the 4.5"?

Both, that way I can just change worms to try and dial it in. Brush piles and stuff like that= Texas rig, open water or they’re not eating it that good I will thread the worm on there

Yeah, I like the 1/0 hook for the 6" worm too. Interesting that everyone else in this thread has said 2/0 for the 6". But 1/0 is light wire, plus I feel like the smaller hook gives a more finesse action.
