I’m putting a new motor on.  Standard DF or SS and why?

    A quick glance  @Obi_Wan at what Glenn provided and it seems the performance of SS is more inline with that of a bass boat.

    Sorry I missed this.  The SS is the better option for you. It's the engine of choice for bass boats.

    Well, the SS wasn’t in the budget.  Ended up ordering a 175.  Its in the shop now.  Hoping to get an update tomorrow on installation.  Can’t wait to get it in the water.
