Are Browning BC reels any good?

How do these reels stack up against high end Shimano's and Daiwas, etc.  They are so expensive.  How smooth are they? Is the quality of construction good?

I JUST PURCHASED THE CITORI COMBO THAT BPS HAD ON SALE THIS WEEKEND. I WANTED TO TRY A LOW PROFILE REEL BECAUSE ALL MY BAITCASTERS ARE ROUND ABU'S.

I TOOK A FEW CASTS IN MY CANAL AND IT SEEMS TO CAST OK AND REELS SMOOTH BUT I DIDN'T CATCH A FISH SO I DIDN'T GET TO TEST THE DRAG.

IT DOESN'T SEEM AS SOLID AS MY ABU'S BUT I'LL WAIT UNTIL I USE IT FOR A FEW TRIPS IN THE SPRING BEFORE I GIVE IT A REAL GRADE.

they arent expensive at all when compared to the other two brands you mentioned.

personally id stick with shimano u cant go wrong imo best reels and most reliable out there
