MY wife just bought me a Shimano Curado 100D on a bass pro shops Pro Qualifier 7'6" heavy action.I bought a Shimano Curado 200DHSV which has a 7.0:1 gear ratio and the 100D has a 6.2:1gear ratio. I do alot flipping. Which one would y'all recommend for the heavy action rod.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Thanks

Personally I would use the 7:1 on the heavy rod ONLY because I need a 100 for a finesse rod.

Personally I would go with the 100D not much science into it, would only go that way because I like having a smaller reel I can palm with my flip/pitch rig.

I agree with fourbizzle, I have a curado 101d and it is awesome for finesse fishing-

Seems to me the 7:1 ratio on the 200 would be helpful recovering line quickly after pitching into heavy cover.
