Minnesota Reel Cleaners

Featured Replies

Looking for a little help on this. I have 3 baitcasters and 3 spinning reels, I want to clean these but I want to bring them to a reliable person here in Minnesota, someone preferably around the Twin Cities. I've owned these reels for around 4 years now, never onced cleaned them and I've never had any issues with them, but I think it's time to give them a good cleaning.

Some help would help, name and phone numbers if you have them.

Thanks.

ReelMech, I'm gonna send my reels to you and I seen you don't service some reels.

I have Shimano Curado and Castaic baitcasters.

then my spinning gear is Shimano Stradic 1000 and Stradic MgF2000.

Do you service all these reels?

I printed out the form and ready to send  :D

WARNING though.

Last year after I sent my reels into ReelMech, I had to re-learn my reels. I especially noticed a difference in my CU-200B5. It was a little over two years old and never cleaned or serviced. Let's just say I had to tighten up my brake a little bit. ;D That thing really ZINGED!!!!! :D

I believe it. I haven't serviced my reels since I bought them. I'm bad at maintenance on my reels/rods. Good thing they have never failed me in over 3+ years of fishing with most my reels/rods.

What are you doing GMAN?

I already posted that link!

Great minds think alike, eh?

Just having a moron moment. LOL.  I have christmas vacation on my mind.  4 days of hunting and eating. Woohooo

Back on topic now.  I have a few chronarchs that might need to go over to him for a bearing or two.  Getting some dragging noises.  The drags need rebuilt too.  I got all the parts but just havent decided if ReelMech gets to do it or I'm going to.

I'm with RW on this Cabela  send them to ReelMech

Happy Holidays!
