I decided to try an Edge Delta 705. I was a little concerned after all the customer service horror stories but on sale for $ 150 and free shipping I thought what the Heck and I always liked the NFC blanks.

I have to say in my case it was a great experience. The kept me informed via email through the whole process. I ordered on the 9th and received the rod on the 25th.

I wanted to duplicate the old Loomis 843. The 705 MBR is maybe a half step stronger, I would say it's an 843.5. but Edge calls it a light medium heavy.

Anyway, the build is fine and the rod fishes great and super versatile like the 843.

The tube they ship in is the strongest I've ever seen. and they use metal end caps. 

No complaints here.
