Gear Monkey is Pulling Hard This Morning...

Featured Replies

Went to my local Bass Pro yesterday evening to get a new pair of water boots for my kayak. Picked up a pair of rubber HUK water boots. They won't work. To tight on the arch of my foot when I put them on over my waders. I will go back to Bass Pro this morning and return them. Probably wind up with a nice inexpensive pair of Teva's. Here's the kicker though. This month Bass Pro has my fish finder on sale. The Garmin 93sv UHD2 is on sale from $1199.99 down to $799.99. 😍 Been going back and forth for a couple seasons now in regards to electronics on my kayak. I won't go over all the pros and cons here as that's another thread. Just DAMNIT. I know I'm going to walk out with that Garmin... Give me a nice winter project this year while the kayak is on saw horses in the basement. Install the new Fish Finder...

Well, the Gear Monkey has been beaten back today. Just got home from Bass Pro. The 93sv that is on sale is the old UHD, not the UHD2. I like to purchase the latest and greatest when I make a purchase of this magnitude. Soooo, I'll wait and purchase the fish finder that I want this winter.
